BMW made history in 1973 by opening its Rosslyn Plant in Pretoria, South Africa – the company’s first production facility outside Germany.
Since then, Rosslyn has produced over 1.6 million vehicles, playing a vital role in BMW’s global network. The plant is a model for innovation, quality, and sustainability – and continues to grow with advanced training programs and electric vehicle technology.
BMW South Africa also oversees operations in 14 Sub-Saharan markets, improving customer care, financing, and after-sales service across the continent.
